my boss tells me to start creating a template but im totally new in gamesalad..i dont know what it means when you say create a template..please help me..tnx

A template is just a piece of code, a demo, or even a full game that users make in gamesalad. Its like a starter pack to start building a game.
You might find a menu system template (helps you with making menu systems)
You might find a platformer template (the basics of building a platformer)
etc etc..
