Apple's treatment of "Delete Test Data" in "iTunes Connect" - not all data is being deleted

Hi,

Issue: Apple does not delete test data for all of the leaderboards when "Delete Test Data" is requested under "Game Center" in iTunes Connect.

I've got an app in development that has got 14 leaderboards (of "Type: Single" in iTunes Connect) and they all work fine as expected. After testing completed I pressed "Delete Test Data" in iTunes Connect and went on vacation for a week. When I came back I then noticed that Apple had deleted the test data for the 5 first leaderboards but left the old test data untouched for all the other leaderboards (unexpected for sure). Note that the test data that remains was posted before I pressed "Delete test data".

I then pressed "Delete Test Data" again in iC and waited +24h before checking back - just to see the same thing, the old test data still remains for several test accounts and for 9 of the leaderboards.

Third time is the charm, right? I then played some more and made sure that new scores was posted for all the 14 leaderboards, then went into iC again and pressed "Delete Test Data", waited for +24h and checked back. Now the test data for the first 4 leaderboards had been deleted but all the old test data remained for the other 10 (what the f*).

I of course do not want my test data to be available when the app goes live.

A possible workaround would probably be to delete and recreate the leaderboards but to have to do that just seems silly (and would be very tedious due to many localization that has been made).

I wonder if anyone has had similar experiences (why does Apple not delete all of the test data?) and I wonder who I have to sleep with in order for Apple to just do as requested...

@JSprojectJSproject just log a case with Apple Support. I am sure they will fix it for you. It could be a bug on their end.

Do not delete and recreate the leaderboards as you will be in the same boat if the test data does not get deleted.

I had an issue where I was adding a new app and the bundle id would not appear in iTunes Connect when I was adding the app. Apple support fixed it for me after I logged a case ...

@neoman thanks for your feedback. Yes, contacting Apple was what I ended up doing (no reply from them yet). I can also mention that I thought I had a neat solution myself by modifying the score range (e.g. from min 0 to max 1) for my leaderboards in iC - what's supposed to happen then is that all scores greater than the max value should have be deleted but that did not happen (waited for hours after that change before checking back). So yeah, the issue is in Apple's hands now.
