Game Center set up

Hello! I have no way of testing out game center in adhoc because I have an iPod 4 gen that only runs up to iOS 6 ... I'm going to get a new iDevice that'll run ios 7 so I won't come into this problem again but if you can tell me if I set up everything right on on gamesalad and on iTunes connect so I can release my update thank you very much in advance for your help ! ![]

Everything appears to look correct. The only issue I see would be you ask people to login....if I pressed this button I would be expecting to go to the leaderboards. Not necessarily login into it.

The other is although you have provided good pics to determine if you have done it correctly. I don't see in what order you letting people do this. Is this all on one scene? If you can try to make the loving first...and then maybe spawn the post scores/leaderboards as a secondary option. If that makes sense. I once saw a game that did just that. Login and then a second later then post and show leaderboards spawned This put everything in the proper sequence.

The reason I say this is because if you try to post a score and are not logged in...no posting will occur...then they might try to go log in...look for their score and not find it and have to go back and THEN POST before they can go view leaderboards. Make sense?

@Thunder_Child I understand what you're getting at. BUT the problem is that for the people who don't care for game center and posting their score and they just want to play the game without forcing to be logged in they also have that choice. For example I've personally never cared to post my score BUT I didn't know so many other people liked game center and wanted it in the game. Here is how its set up in my game. At the home screen (in the bottom right) you can see the Game Center button

As soon as the game is over you are greeted with the retry button (bottom center) or if you'll like you can post your score (bottom left) or if you'll like to view the scores (bottom left)

I hope you understand! Do you think the way I set it up in my game will cause the game to glitch out or run just fine? Thank you very much for the reply

Ahh now I see. Looks very well planned and yes I can agree not always do I prefer to be automatically added to a GC leaderboard.

One quick other suggestion is just before submission...make sure any "check boxes" pertaining to you leaderboards have been checked even though they have been created...they must be checked before final submission in the "version" section I believe.

here are some screen shots I have made...after I went through the process your screenshots show..

Notice after I made my leaderboards....I still have to go back and "CHECK" the box to activate them.

Does this make sense?

@Thunder_Child wow! I just thought you had to turn leader board on. Never knew you had to go check something else. THANK YOU
