I cant believe that after 2 month I still se questions about very important things like level track and pause and GS doesn't do anything to clarify this. I really have to thank all the people that have tried to put this in an simple way like somepeople who tried to explain the way of tracking levels but very few could understand it. We ask for a demo but instead we received a demo of the result not the process.
Please GS people if you see topics that certainly are creating constant turbulence in the people, please do something about it.
Also for everybody else I really appreciate all of you who try to answer questions here and there but please have in mind that some of us does not have all the processes very clear so if you could be more specific in your answers it will be awesome. Sometimes I ask for a question and the answer that I get only leaves me with more questions. Like if you say add an attribute, please mention what kind of an attribute. An incomplete answer is just a way to create a bigger question.
thank you all and please don't take this in the wrong way I am just trying to make this community and the games created by it a little better.

Some good points there the GS community are amazing. Tracking levels? Sorry what do you mean by that? As in knowing what level you are on?

Or saving and loading levels perhaps?

I can understand your frustrations concerning things not getting done, but I think we all have to work within the limits of each beta as they arrive. And that's to remind ourselves that that's exactly what GS is at the moment; still in beta stage. There's a hundred and one things that need to be altered/added/amended/improved, etc., but time will tell as these are done. I think Gendai is only a small company, but even then if you track the evolution over one year, you'll see how far GS has come. It can only get better! This is not to say that no one should complain or point out stuff, but just work within or around the limits with a bit of patience, I reckon.

As for your questions answered creating more questions, sometimes that's exactly the same for all of us! Everyone's at a different level of experience/expertise and learn at different rates, but it doesn't matter; the end game is the important thing. It's no race....

I'll stop there, cos I think it's sounding like I'm lecturing you, aracknor; not meant to be that! Just my penny's (cent's) worth...

Best of luck in your game-making activities; and let's all hope that GS will blow the competitors out of the water in a year or so's time!

Yes I understand and don't worry I don't take it as a lecture. I really understand your point and to tell you the truth, my frustration is because I am so amaze by the program, it aloud ME to create something that not even in my wildest dreams I thought I could (ping pong) pretty simple but without GS it wouldn't happen.
The tracking level that I am referring is when you leave the game and come back how to start in the level that you were and not start from the beginning. Jameszepeling explained in a post but it was a little bit complicate, he said that he was going to make a demo to explain it better but instead he did a demo showing that it work, not about how it work.I have not found any other example and that is what constrain me to my starting position. Sometimes a second example help you to understand the first...
Thanks again for your understanding of me getting frustrated for being hours trying to understand a couple of rules without any success.

No worries, aracknor. Sometimes, hitting your head against a brick wall is worth it after the solution's found! More of a sense of achievement, perhaps.

Yes, I thought you meant coming back to a pre-saved level. In general, this involves using two of the Behavio(u)rs: Load Attribute and Save Attribute. And the reason that no one has put up a demo/example is simply that this only works when being used on an actual iDevice. It certainly doesn't work on the Mac. THis is because it uses and calls up a certain type of file pertinent to the iDevices only, which the Mac wouldn't "understand".

I'd like to get a little demo of this together, as would a lot of other people, I know. When I get round to it though, I don't know, (someone might beat me to it) but even then, it can only be seen to be working on an iDevice, as I say.

Hope that's cleared the air for you a bit. Also glad you were thrilled at creating your first game with GS; it's deceptively simple, as I say, but still can produce impressive stuff with the minimum of fuss!

    :-)
