Updating App with old IAP

I have an older app that uses the old format of IAP. It's beginning to catch some steam so I am going to apply an update to it. My question is, since the app is running fine now and the in app purchases are working, will I need to change the update to use the new style of IAP? I only ask because there are over 20 IAP's in the app and would rather not go through changing all of them if I don't have to.
