Working with Sandbox IAP Testing?

Hi guys! So I'm completely new to app developing and publishing and am learning most things by all by myself. 
I recently was trying to work sandbox testing for in app purchases. I created a sandbox account but it wants credit card information and stuff when I signed in with it. How do I get it to work so it won't actually make a purchase... I'm pretty confused so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

sandbox won't charge your card so you will be fine when testing, apple only charges IAP on live apps that are actually on the app store
