Working with Sandbox IAP Testing?

Hi guys! So I'm completely new to app developing and publishing and am learning most things by all by myself. :# I recently was trying to work sandbox testing for in app purchases. I created a sandbox account but it wants credit card information and stuff when I signed in with it. How do I get it to work so it won't actually make a purchase... I'm pretty confused so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! :)
