Can we get some clarification on the entry requirements, though.
You can resubmit your app if you submitted it last month and didn't win. (You can also resubmit an app that's been entered in more than one GOTM so long as it has had a significant update.)
While we are aware that there are hundreds of awesome games out there, we prefer that the game you submit was published in 2015 or late 2014 (November or December).
This seems rather vague and contradictory. Also, is there any requirement that a game is released in the month of the competition? GotM is basically now an open competition of all GameSalad games released in the past year? What's to stop people just submitting the same games every month?

I think that was a bit of copypasta. Submissions should be GS-built games released in 2015 for sure, and relatively recently at that.
We don't want to penalize folks who finished their games earlier in the year but missed the last GOTM because we were too wrapped up in corporate stuff, but I also don't want a bunch of old games in the running, either.

There will be more info on how this will work soon. There will probably be some (not necessarily radical, but important) changes in the way it works, but we need to finish discussing the particulars with the whole panel.
The relatively permissive entry requirements right now are due to the fact that there wasn't a GOtM for a little while and due to the change of the contest becoming community run, and our discussions about what to do differently and how are running concurrently with the submissions -- we wanted to let people start submitting from the beginning of the month, but that meant we didn't have enough time to get everything sorted before opening for submissions.
Not to worry! It will not be possible to submit the same game again and again month after month. It will be possible to resubmit some games -- under certain conditions -- but not all games. More info on this to come.
Here is an idea for future GOTM @pHghost how about limiting the submissions to being released in the last 3 months and you can only resubmit the game by invite only. This way you can pick a winner and two runner ups and allow the runner ups to re-enter the next month. This would allow for tough months where a runner up would have won if not up against tough competition? Just an idea worth exploring I thought.
We are exploring the concept of having a couple honorable mentions so people can see what the panel thought of their game even though they didn't win. We are refining the process right now. I can tell you the first question all of the panel wanted to address was the issue with people constantly posting the same game month after month. This is coming to an end with very very limited exemptions. We will have all the changes in place for next months GOTM.

Classic mode
Eat as much fruit as you can for score without letting fruit pass and avoid those worms they're poisonous to pigs. Collect falling eggs to spawn
a birdy or bomb, its your gamble. The birdy will help you collect fruit
for a limited time increasing your score.The bomb will take off a portion
of your health.
To move the piggy, simply touch or drag him where you want him.
Dodge mode
Its night time and there are worms everywhere! Avoid all the worms
for as long as you can to get a best time.

As mentioned by me and @Lost_Oasis_Games we are in the process of working out a system that would be fair, but also reasonably limiting, so the GOtM stays fresh every month (which is also great for the panel, as it's more interesting seeing new games, rather than the same old ones again and again, ad nauseam).

The panel has decided that submissions will be closed tomorrow (October 15th) around 10 p.m. Pacific Time Zone. Make sure you get your submission in before then!
We feel that this early closure will allow us to play all of the submissions, evaluate and post the winner and blog post on November 1st. Previously, submissions were closed at the end of the month and the results were posted sometime during the following month.
All of these games are great - I can't wait to play all of them!

Basically you are not controlling character but pixels. You have 2 different pixels and your Head showing different reactions to this 2 pixel. By the way you must be careful with the enemies. The game will get more speed when you play more. So Jump The Heads and don't drop them.

Please check out Breakfast Buffalo as a candidate for the Game of the Month competition.. I Designed, Coded, and did most of the UI art, while my partner and I contracted a few other artists to help with some of the main characters.
The game is a simple Kids matching-game that has elements of the arcade hit Tapper while including upgrade elements for extended game play.
Just saw this post so no time to upload video to youtube but iTunes has a video.
This game was a big pain to make there are some crazy tags making everything detect what they need to. It is a 2 player one device game you will find insanely fun.

Wow fruit pig is like some disturbing dream world....and I mean that in the nicest way possible.
