I didn't order the console - but I ordered the legendary edition last November...
And, a couple months ago I completed a room in my basement dedicated to playing halo - complete with a 6' statue of the master chief and a metallic purple paint that looks just like covenant vehicle paint.

The game or the console? - I am pretty sure they are asking about a special edition reach 360 console in this thread. The console itself is he new 'slim' design with custom case work. It includes 2 custom controllers and a copy of the new game. On top of the, there are 'halo sounds' used for console hardware operations such as opening the dvd tray. Oh, and you can see the console at some point in the game (it is a model for a data server in one of the ships within the game).
Now for the game - everything is different. It is a ground up brand new halo game... and it is going to be awesome. The beta was available in May - new weapons, abilities, character models, graphics, maps, music, campaign, multiplayer modes, etc.

Meh. I wont rush to buy it but it would be nicer to have than my current elite.
