iOS App Store Download Spike

Has anyone recently had a download spike in the iOS app store on 10-15-15 or 10-19-15? App Annie states that the 3000+ download spike was from promotion. I haven't been promoting my app. I'm so confused.

No Chartboost start ups either.

    Kind of. I would like to know why it is occurring. Also why Chartboost isn't recognizing any bootups. Very suspicious.

    App Annie will also count the download as a promotion if it comes from an affiliate link, such as a review site or an app like AppShopper!

    That's fine but it still doesn't account for 0 chartboost startups. The app hasn't been changed and has always delivered interstitials and banners.

    There was no increase in impressions for either ad.

    I'm curious if apple is giving me the downloads.

    I am the opposite with chart boost. I get startups abut ZERO impressions......... I can't figure it out and have switched most apps to admob. At least I get a little money for impressions........
