That's right. 15 day trial, then $20 or $30 / month, depending on on the subscription model you choose.

Gamesalad team work really hard to give us an easy drag and drop game maker so people who dont know coding can make a great games using it including me, so why we don't support them its my pleasure to be a member of the team :)

It's relatively inexpensive if you look at it as a hobby, as a study tool or even as a moneymaker. Yeah, there are free Java, Swift, C++ and other alternatives out there, but this is, to a point, the antithesis of those alternatives.

Plus, remember they're a for-profit business, and they're in it for, well, the profit.

Sorry to ruin this post; but... Y u no free Gamesalad?!

Yes it does truly suck it isn't free :disappointed: But when people want money they don't care about how people feel. But, they could make a free version that allows you to play around with it then "Pay-to-Publish"...

I assume they felt like not giving up their jobs and closing down GameSalad. Would you work for free? :D

But, they could make a free version that allows you to play around with it then "Pay-to-Publish"...

This is what they had, and it wasn't making them enough money to remain viable.

It is disappointing but so are many things in life..... Change can be difficult.

They do have a free version you can play around with for 15 days. Unfortunately the best things in life are not free.........

It works both ways. What about the feelings of the employees of GS? Do you care about them? GS deserves to do whatever they need to do to be profitable. Employees deserve to be paid.......

Usually when people get their first job perspectives usually changes....

@gattoman You are right. They are doing a good job and should be paid for their work. It just stinks that it changed. I should have thought about them when I wrote what I did. They have to live too! So, I will do my job, make money, pay for GS, give them money, and everyone will be happy!

    P.S.
Then, one day, I will see that dollar I marked again... maybe

Don't forget there's a discount for students. I'm not sure exactly what it is but I believe it's 50%.

Put on some old clothes, roll around in some dirt for a bit, find an empty cup, go to a populated area, sit down and hold up the cup.
