GameSalad cloud version?

I have a Toshiba Chromebook 2 which happens to be the best laptop I've owned so far.
I was wondering if GameSalad will ever be available on Chrome's Web app store, I know it's easier said than done, and probably won't happen in the next 5 years - that is if it ever will.
I think that there are tremendous benefits to going cloud, there are cloud apps for most major developing programs.
Truth is I don't want to spend over $1k on a Macbook for on the go coding, especially when I have a PERFECT device called Tohiba Chromebook 2.
I believe Chromebooks will gain a huge market share in the future and more and more devices will eventually become cloud based.
