Can someone please explain how to save/export a sound file from Garageband?
I have no idea how to convert the aif file to a .ogg file.
Are there other file formats GS will accept?

from what I can tell, when I have imported an mp3 file, gs converts it to an ogg file as part of the import process. I might be wrong tho!

Thanks. How and where do I actually import my sound file. Tried to drag and drop but didn't work. Do I drag it into the actor screen?

The best sound file format for GameSalad is actually .caf. There is a free application called Max that will easily convert just about any format to .caf.

Below the actor window you will see tabs for "images" and "audio". Click one of those tabs and use the "+" or "-" to add or remove the needed files.

Thanks to all. Got it. New to GS.
Love GS, but somebody should write
Manual. Not everything is explained in
"Getting Started" and WIKI.
While creating a game is fun and easy
I spent hours in the Forum section if I have
a Problem.
