MAx Vector Icon - Which Looks Best?!?! Help!

Hey guys,

To make the most of being featured I really want an icon that captures the spirit of the game and makes people want to grab it at the same time!

Which of these, if any work for you?

    i would suggest the 3rd one.

    exclude the second one because it's not really showing what the app is like :)

    Never mind, stupid new iTunes connect... can't change the icon until an update :(

    Yeah just a bit too busy with the text, I reckon. It suits it though... it's the Atari 2600 cart label text ;)

    I would say the current icon, or the basic one.

    Edit: maybe you should add the box shot as a screenshot

    Yeah, I noticed that and liked it. Some games in the 1980s DID have painted box art posters, but that would confuse potential buyers of this 8bit inspired title.

    Don't all of our icons have to be the sMe? Or risk Apples denial?

    That's a pretty good idea - as Franz says, they usually have to be the same - but they do let through some that are 'almost' identical - having the writing at the top for the 512x512 and not for the 57x57 should be fine.

    @beefy... update has already been submitted. I'm NOT pulling the binary AGAIN. LOL.

    I'm just gonna put out the lite version and get to work on the next project... which is sooooo much cooler than Max (if I can pull it off), it's not funny... until Max 2 comes along. LOL

    Brilliant, know the feeling, after any more than 1 day into the whole 'waiting for review' phase, you cant pull it, unless its something drastic. lol. Look forward to your next project

    I'm not reading all the replies as I'm on the phone, but the one you have now looks great on my iPhone ^-^;

    I like the text. It is busy, but not in a bad way. It makes you think of an old school cartridge - which I think works for what you are going for.
