Hey guys,

Any of you got PBE working on Yosemith?
Really cant get it to open
Have been digging through posts on the forums and it seems like this problem has been discussed before.
Might just upgrade to El Capitain if that solves the problem.

Thanks Dave, yeah I tried that version too but that won't open either. Java starts and then closes after about 2 seconds and nothinng more happens.
Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling java but now luck. Must be doing something wrong but can't figure out what. @Lost_Oasis_Games

You can always get physics editor. That's what I use and it only $20

Yes same problem, java starts then shuts down almost instantly. Nothing happens.

@Dues Ok that is odd as that version is all bundled up with the Java 6 runtime so is totally self contained and should run regardless of your Java installation. Read about it here http://brainfisheatfishbrain.com/2015/03/physics-body-editor-java-7-mac-os-x.html

Do you have third party app off. Go into security in setting and set it to anywhere.

I get the message "Unable to access jarfile physics-body-editor.jar" in terminal when I try to run it.

So I tried to uninstall Java again and now it works
Used this "howto"

I should have pointed out that the version of Physics Body Editor I linked to is just run like any regular OS X application - terminal is not required.

(in windows speak it would be called portable, just like most Mac applications)

@tmann I tried both ways but it didn't work.
After removing java the original version of PBE worked.
