should ads show in ad hoc testing?

in iPhone and Android Publishing

So ive enabled ad mob on my app, and when i connect my android to my mac and preview the app on my phone using the GS viewer i can see a "test advertisement" banner at the bottom, but when i sign the apk and download it on my phone and open the app i cant see anything. Am i supposed to see ads in the ad hoc test or do they only show when i upload to google play?

    You should see the ads in adhoc. If you just created the ad campaign in revmob, it might take a while before they start to show up.

    You should see ads in ad hoc. Make sure you have a campaign set up/connected.
