If you are still thinking of upgrading then I might make some Mac suggestions.
Glad you like Affinity Designer, it is one of the greatest new apps to come along for years - it won Apples's Best Application for 2015 Award. Anybody in this forum who creates their own graphics, vector, bitmap or composites of both, should check it out.
