So it's a pretty basic shooter that I have been working on for about a day, the video tells it all
The rules regarding the boss dragon is that you have to destroy one body part at the time, starting at the back.
edit: I had it set to private, would work better now

Looks fun for a moment or two... I think you might want to add enemies/obstacles coming from the left side of the screen or even the top and bottom (I skipped through the 5 minute video so if you already have that, ignore this). It's too predictable to have everything coming from one direction.
It looks like you have a spread shot powerup... what others do you have implemented or planned? I can see something that makes your plane smaller (harder to hit) or something that makes your plane larger, which you'd want to avoid.

I have at the moment (in the video three different enemies. the fireflies follow you around a bit. Enemies that come from above I will implement but from the left seem a little annoying.
I'm thinking I should have different weapons to choose from at the menu, haven't really thought that far yet though.
edit. Nail bombs and flamethrowers are always fun.
Maybe I should increase the speed as well?

I've changed some stuff with all of your ideas in mind. Some enemies now come from above, the level of difficulty is increased faster and I've made some changes to the boss.

Yeah that's a good idea, I forgot to implement those changes in this video though

I think you have a good start!
Maybe unless you plan to have short levels and the player levels up quickly. In that case, easy difficulty is appropriate for the first level(s).
