Application Loader Error

I have os x 10.11.4 beta 2 and the newest version of gamesalad. But i keep getting this error when i try to upload my app in application loader version 3.4.

ERROR ITMS-90072: "The IPA is invalid. It does not include a Payload directory."

i made the .app into an .ipa and put it in the payload folder before i compressed it.

What am i doing wrong? is there a different way to upload? i have Xcode 7 as well

publish your app again and when you get to the last window after you select where to download it. Hit publish and it will produce the proper IPA automatically. Or make a folder call it Payload, make sure it is a capital P. Put your .app in the folder. Zip the folder and change thePayload.zip to Payload.ipa
