hey guy what do you guys think of feature request where GS can access microphone, camera, health info on the iOS devices ( like step counts ) that will open a whole new possibility for utilities applications and will expand GS beyond the gaming market

Would be nice, but there's other more relevant improvements to be made first. Maybe someday...

I mean, the clue might be in the name. It's called GAMEsalad.
I'd rather they focus on making the software better at making games, than trying to add in a bunch of other, non-game related features.
It would be nice to have access to the camera or Photos.
Adding avatars or using players images would be great in most games.
Adding avatars Eather than using names would be a great way to game-ify utilities.
It would be nice for them to improve the UI for the text/keyboard input first. But I've said this a dozen times already.
Access to camera and microphone has been asked for many times.
Would open some pretty interesting options for devs.
accessing these functions will open the door to whole new different types of games .. taking screen shot of the game play or video for users to upload ... GS has with all its limitations has the power to make awesome games .. so why not adding features to make it more awesome
The only reasons I can think of not adding features is how gamesalad is made. It's either almost technically impossible or the finances required to add features is more than would be returned.
As with all software, adding features comes at a cost. And that cost is other features.
Adding stuff like screenshot capability, GPS, microphone support etc would be awesome. But, in my opinion, there are other features that would make Gamesalad a better game making piece of software (native custom collision shapes, more use of expression editor in behaviours such as spawn, sound etc), and adding GPS or photos ahead of those features would be a bad move.
That said, if you feel strongly, and other do too, you can submit a feature request and get people to vote on it. If enough people agree it'll get pushed higher up the priority list
