Having a character latch onto something in the game

I have been playing around with the trial of GameSalad for a little bit now and was wondering if something was possible…is it possible to have a character latch onto something …I’m still coming up with my idea, it kind of keeps evolving, so it is hard to describe what I want to do but basically I want my character to be aimed at something and once it touches it stays there. Thanks in advance.

I'd say it's possible, but first you need to figure out exactly what you want to happen so it's easier to help you.
Depending on what/when/how you want something to happen will change the way it's set up in Gamesalad.

Certainly possible but exactly how you would do it will depend on your game. Check out the video in the thread below, the player sometimes sticks to a wall or ceiling.

Hi, My idea (art and concept) would be different but the controls with the arrows and the way it attaches to the wall and bubble is generally the way i would like things to behave. It's hard to explain what i'm thinking because, the idea is kind of just spinning round in my head going in all different directions right now...but i wanted to be sure if it can be done at least the controls before i start creating my artwork.
Ps. i just started watching your course off udemy, i watched the intro part now i'm upto the pong exercise. I was using your course to try out GameSalad so i had somewhere to begin.
@Elijarah, thanks for your support of the course, I hope it's helping you out! Keep us posted on the progress of your game.
