Compressed file size versus project size

Question, my project size as of now, shown in the bottom right corner of the game is 9.8mb, is this the official project size we need to be aware of when sending the game to apple, or do we have some leeway room with the compressed file for the under 10mb rule?

Okay here is what is going on the Gamesalad website limits the game size when you upload to their website.(Witch is 10mb)
But apple does not have a file size limit I have seen apps that are 700-900 mb on the appstore!
Apple does limit the file size when you download from the 3G Network which was formally 10mb but is now 20mb.

That size in the lower right corner of the home screen is incorrect. There is an extra user file in the project that gets mistakenly calculated into the total.

If you right click, or control-click on the .gameproj file for your game ( the icon on the hard drive)
and select "Show Package Contents", you will see all the files associated wit that project.

the .gsuser file is the file that's beign calculated. You can move that file out of the .gameproj folder to see your true size. You can also move that file out of the way when you upload the game to gamesalad.com

moving that file should give you several MBs

However, do this at your own risk. I have seen no problems with this, but your mileage may vary.
