Hi Everyone,

I'm a pixel artist from Indonesia. Just happen to stumble on Gamesalad yesterday accidentally. Watched a couple of Youtube tutorial and I think it's worth to try. So I decided to try the trials and going to try to make my own game. Hoping I can quickly get to understand it quickly and who knows, maybe I can make my own game this year.

I'm still stuck with my tight game art schedule to finish, even on weekend. Still watching Gamesalad tutorials on Youtube and figuring out what's the most possible game I can do (with my very limited coding knowledge). I believe my skills in pixel art is merely cosmetics if the game is too simple. I need to write my GDD soon. What's the best game can be achieved with Gamesalad? Any suggestion guys?

My advice. Don't try too much with your first project. Start with something simple, and move on to more complex things when you know how GS works.

That is a very subjective question. If this is your first project I'd start small and not worry yet about the 'best game', just start and finish something to get the experience.

@frans.surya You can achieve any result with gamesalad , if you want to see the best games , you have access to featured games page. You can download them and test them out

If you have the time , you can also go to ( Announce your game) section in the categories and look at the different games submitted , but remember the quality of the game depends on you , not on gamesalad alone , they are great but you can do better you just need to put the work, effort and your touch into it.
