Help, need review help because of a Salad hater! PROMO CODES!

Hey guys,

this tosser has made it his mission to give bad reviews to GameSalad games. He even sent me an email saying GS should be banned because it's not real coding. Unfortunately, this bulls**t review (check the majority - 5 stars) is the only one showing right now on version 1.1 of the game. PLEASE leave a review for 1.1 if you've already bought or previously had a promo code... if not, here are some more codes.

Need help, this guy is just sad and pathetic and obviously searching for attention.

And this is EXACTLY why Gendai should think about removing that splash screen... it does their company more harm than good... just check my Touch Arcade threads to see how many people greatly dislike GS and won't buy anything with the logo attached...

keep getting an error trying to post a review

AAAAAARGH! I'm so sick of iTunes... every time I start it up, Ridge Racer tries to download. What's more, there are two instances in the downloads list and the game has already been downloaded and is in my Apps folder! I have deleted the downloads but they keep coming back and when they're finished, they start up again, it's an infinite loop!

This happened the other night and I wasted 1.5GB downloading a single game (also happened with Cobra Command), all without my knowledge!

Yeah, I live in Australia... the most backwards country in the world when it comes to technology. LOL. I'm on wireless and it's bloody expensive, too!

I tried to leave a review and now it's saying "there was an error with the iTunes store, please try again later."

I know it might go back to claiming I have to purchase it again after that, but will continue to try anyways. If not, when I have a few bucks for games I'll buy and review that way. (I've got a negative balance right now due to the end of the month fees, lol.)

RE internet: Who are you with? I'm with iPrimus, a bundled thing with the phone and internet, and get 120GB a month spread evenly between on and off peak.

I'm with Unwired... our flat doesn't have a phone line! And I am NOT signing up with anything... Aussies are all about trapping you for 24 months... by that time MUCH better deals are available on prepay. lol.

Yeah, maybe so.

I'm signed up for 24 months, but that was because my partner decided to sign me up - lol - he locked me in because he thought 60 GB wasn't enough for him XD

He now enjoys signing "signed you up, locked you in" while telling me we might get cable.

He also put our iPhones on the same account XD

Odd, I keep getting an error trying to post a review as well. Weird. I'll keep trying.

By the way, when I saw this thread title, I was sure it was the same person who has slammed me twice for using GameSalad. He had originally slammed a bunch of GS people, but then for some reason all his reviews were pulled. Now he's back and so far he has only slammed me. (look at Nesen Probe US reviews, you will sure see it). The neat thing is he tells people to search this forum for my post, claiming I've asked for fake reviews. I hope people actually do, because my thread very clearly says "positive or critical, it's all good."

Hahaha, he's a ****head. Doesn't even know that the Atari 2600 is an 8 Bit console and abuses me for saying it is... LOL. Idiot just wants attention. He's probably about 12... YES, THERE WERE GAME SYSTEMS BEFORE THE NES THAT WERE 8 BIT!!! lol.

There would be no way of them knowing it was a GS made product until they had bought it?

@JC, That's correct, but they can avoid a Dev's other ventures (or add nasty comments) once they have purchased a game/app and notice the GS signage...

@poly... definitely a great and good book...just remember to take plenty of breaks, get lots of sleep, and if something gets you baffled go for a walk instead...that often helps to iron out confusion.:)

I've been a member hear for almost a year and post frequently in the forums. I try to answer questions when I can and participate in discussions. I've not gotten a lot of response to my requests for reviews either. Hey, that's just how it goes, no hard feelings. I don't think you took a code of my game either, but I'm not cursing about it.

I am curious as why all his old reviews under the name justicarl were pulled. He had slammed a bunch of GameSalad games under that name.

He must have gotten his promo codes here. So far under his new name he has reviewed 3 games, mine, max vector and a free pinball game. Curiously, the pinball game has mostly bad reviews with the noticeable exception of his 5 star review. The other reviews talk about "fake" reviews as well. Very, very curious.

justicarl slammed Danger Cats! a little while ago. Nice to see that his review was removed! I think he either made the pinball game or knows the guy who did. He was always saying how amazing it was.

I assume he is one of the forum members here as there is no way to know that design219's games are made by gamesalad, other than reading these forums.
