Music optimisation

Hello all

I'm just adding music into my first app and wondered if anyone had any advice on file sizes , bit rates etc. Since adding the music the size of my app has doubled so i was hoping to reduce the bit rate and quality of the music but don't have a guide of what the minimum should be
