I'm a middle school computer teacher. Always looking for some new ideas. Will GameSalad become part of my curriculum? We'll see.

I wish we had game salad when I was in school. I had to make games in Basic. What great thing for you and your students.

GameSalad is a great product for teaching STEM topics. Go for it!
I've been teaching a game design elective for 7th and 8th graders using GameSalad. It's a great tool and it allows students to take a game from concept to production very quickly. I've used it with students as young as 4th grade but older students tend to do better with logic, sequence, etc.

GS is best for starters as it is relatively much easier than any other product on the market according to me.
Current Projects I am working on: Stupid Duck, Zango's Shark Adventure, AoD: Age of Dragons, Rocket Jump: The Pixel Invaders

I'm looking to start doing this in the UK, wondering are you guys using PC or Mac! I'm thinking Pc laptops as it's much cheaper to buy 10pluss laptops to take around schools?
But I use Mac myself for my games!
Your thoughts would be great
We're a Mac school so we use GameSalad on MacBooks. But yes, PCs would be cheaper.

I use a Mac lab. However some students have PC's at home and switch back and forth quite readily.
