Gamecenter log out question

So I was going to have my game center log in occur on the opening splash screen. Question though: if the phone falls asleep (or the user switches to another app quick) and comes back in the middle of the game or something, will it log out? Then if it tries to post a score it wouldn't update I assume. Should I build it so that the game center log in happens when the score is going to be posted and then like half a second later post it? Or does gamesalad stay logged in if the phone is put to sleep?

Good question. I've never really thought about it that way. I always log the user in on the menu. I assume, if a logout actually occurred, that when the post score behavior is fired the game would automatically ask you to log back in. Now, I assume this is the case but I'm not 100% certain. Someone else may want to pop in here and verify that.

Most people that use gamecenter stay logged in so I generally do the login prompt at the place where scores are posted or do an option in my menus to login.
