@patogh I will put back Windows 8 soon for existing apps. For new apps we suggest you use the HTML5 target and Cordova (https://cordova.apache.org/docs/en/latest/)

The intention was to deprecate it, but unfortunately it got removed instead.

Okay, existing Windows 8 projects should be back. You won't be able to create new ones. In the HTML5 package there is a sample-cordova-index.html and js/cordova-app.js. Which should help you get things going.

We're hoping that by moving our efforts towards Cordova instead of a separate Win8 app, that we allow users more flexibility.

Is full native .exe still in the works? HTML5 wrappers and frameworks are nice but don't work for every game.

all the old windows 8 projects were just HTML5 wrapped games, so I still think you are better off using HTML5 / Cordova to publish to windows 10 store.

native .exe exists, I'm sure we'll see it once 1.25 is released.

But can someone quickly tell us how to do it step by step?

We who do tutorials do it using our own precious time. We do a voluntarily and for free. It takes a lot of time to research and do a tutorial especially one like this. To demand one now is rude and disrespectful to those who give so much of their time for free. it comes off as a spoiled brat mentality.

Apologies if it seem entitled. I wasn't sure what the remarks "//"meant and all efforts on your part and all those who make tutorials are much appreciated. Most of us wouldn't get by without them. Thanks
