I get a good amount of impressions with the reward videos. Players seem to want to watch the video rather than go back levels. I'm not making enough from the reward ads to quit my day job but it has provided a more stable revenue stream. I used @The_Gamesalad_Guru 's video tutorial and it works as expected in this game. The player starts up a level, when they run out of time a button pops up and ask if the want more time. When they click on the "more time" button the scene is paused and the chartboost reward video button appears. The user clicks the button and the video appears.
All of my ads have been filled. That being said I don't have millions of impressions. If I did there might be some ads that aren't filled which could pose an issue.
I may have overlooked this somewhere, but is it possible to have a reward video and Interstitial Ads in my game? I have a rule where I have a random number from 1-10 being returned and if that number is 10 a reward video is shown, but if it is not 10 then an Interstitial ad comes up.
Will that work?
If you're using the "Pause Game" behavior or changing scenes, just make sure to choose "Interstitial Ad" from the drop down box, if random number equals 1-9.
If random number equals 10 then be sure to use the same "Pause Game" behavior/change scene but choose the "Reward Video Ad" from the drop down.

Just a question: does the Ad Reward Value need to be reset?
Or it turns automatically to 0 when you exit the pause screen?

I believe it needs to be reset, because it definitely is still changed when I leave my pause screen

When the player fails they have an option to get more time by watching a reward video or they go back three levels.
