DisplayText in AllCaps

Does anyone know if there is a way do force display text in all capitals ?

i have an app that a user types in (mix case) then each letter is read back as an image (with a text version of the letter in the upper left) this letter i want to always be a capital as it is easier to read.

i was hoping for a function but cant see one.
