How about a private section of the forum for developers?

Touch Arcade does this, and it would be very easy for GameSalad to set this up. I think there are times when this could be very useful.

Does anyone else agree?

    The exclusive forums would only be used for promo codes and we don't want lurkers stealing them... It's a good trade off... If you want promos, you have to be a member, nobody enjoys having their work stolen and then given sh*tty reviews...

    another feature i would strongly like is to have the type of license beside our names in the forums.
    for example just above my post (beside my name) i would like to see the membership i have.
    i.e. giacomopoppi - express user
    hrsmedia - Pro User (not sure if u r a pro, im just giving an example)

    So the normal forums wouldn't get looked over by members in the private forum, the private forums should be IN the normal forums, but just show up for purchased members. But the posts would have a tag in front like [Polls] do. Something like this:
    [Private] or [Members]

    But these wouldn't show up if you weren't signed in.

    It can't be good for gendai to have punks like the dude who uses promo codes to leave reviews that trash gamesalad. A private section for paying customers would at least force that asshole to buy our apps before trashing GS.

    Anywho, It think it would be great.

    Anyone else feel that Gendai has been quieter than normal lately? I haven't seen a yellow post in quite some time. Hopefully that means an update with great new features or game engine improvements, but it sure would be nice to see regular yellow posts.

    This is a good idea, only our mate Tasearan claims he's a dev too and being the worst offender, wouldn't really help much.

    Then again, who believes a guy who hides behind false email addresses (he's sent many, all from different "remailer" addresses - pussy - what are you scared of?) and signs off as other forum members? I'm actually pretty rapt that I am the only thing that means anything in this guy's life right now! Hahahaha!

    So, so sad... what a pitiful existence this fellow has.... sitting around watching other people's app rankings, solely so he can write malicious emails laughing if the rankings fall... poor, poor man. It gives me great joy every email he sends as each time I realise just how much less pathetic than him I am!

    1. Yes, my app has dropped severely IN THE US (although since yesterday it has climbed over 200 spots). In the rest of the world it has grown substantially, go check it out, you obviously have nothing better to do.

    2. You're welcome for the 5 star rating. Your app probably deserved it and I REALLY hope sales are doing well as it's obvious nothing else in your life is.

    As a newly purchased Express Member. I totally support this. It would Also probably help Gendai as we would sure discuss some topics that free members would want to know about like how to work around a certain bug or whatnot. Ppl can use the software for free still but there would be a benefit to purchasing before your app is ready cause then you have full access to pick other developers minds.

    I have a mixed view on this, I vote yes for all the reasons but we are a community that takes pride in the fact that we are open and helpful to anyone who pursues a genuine interest in GameSalad. However I do feel that people take advantage of this and exploit it, so it's a +1 from me.

    Oh and another thing that would be nice about the private forum is a place you can post your preview videos to only members instead of the world having access to steal your ideas. I have thought about posting a video several times but cant bring myself to do it before im ready to submit to app store.
