GS finally fixed their software to allow for copying from one project to another but there are some issues to be aware of. I have helped people lately with some of these issues that resulted from copying and pasting rules from one project into another.

TIP 1) All attributes that were made by the user (ie NOT self.position, game.Time, self.rotation, etc) will NOT copy over. Instead GS will put "game" where it used to say "game.CustomAttribute" (or whatever). Begin by creating the missing attribute in the project you are copying into. You will then need to open the expression editor, click on the word "game" so it turns blue, then select the correct attribute from the drop down menus. The correct attribute will replace "game" and you will be good to go.

TIP 2) Don't forget to check your instances! If you unlocked any instances (or if you copied scenes from another project) you must check those instances as well.
