So Bad Publicty = Good Publicity, Right?

Doing my usual daily Google search on my new game, Amoebeat, to see if anything new pops up, well, boy did I get a nice surprise today. A lot of the Nintendo blogs are running the same syndicated story from some small time gaming blog saying how Amoebeat is a rip off of Electroplankton and how they wish Nintendo swoops down and slaps a lawsuit on me.
Well....I have a couple of responses to that:
1) I doubt Nintendo will do anything, as the game's only made $23 combined world wide. Nintendo usually doesn't even bother till a game makes a few thousand.
2) It is inspired by Electroplankton, not a rip off. It's not like the dozens of Duck Hunt rip offs on the App Store, for example.
3) Gameloft's main bread and butter is to do similar things with major console games. Off the top of my head, they did similar things with Halo(N.O.V.A.), Resident Evil 5(Zombie Infection), and the Modern Warfare games. Yet they aren't catching any flack.
So, yeah. If anything, these guys are giving me free publicity, so the joke's on them. I mean I made the game free because the sales turned to crap in the first place, it was gonna happily sink to the bottom of the App Store to be forgotten.

I LOVED Electroplankton, I still have mine sealed in the box, great game though, and it's cool that they allow you to download all of the mini-games in the DSi shop to keep it alive and fresh since it was so rare
Are you putting it back to paid now?
EDIT: I just looked at the graphics, and can now see why they said it was similar, the graphics look like Electroplankton.
But nonetheless, let us know how it does!
