User reward ideas

Hello everyone!

I had an idea about an app where people can write quotes and read, share, like other random quotes written by other people.
And i was wondering, what kind of reward would you like to receive for writing those quotes?

Please share all of your ideas.

Likes on Facebook and Instagram seem to be rewarding enough for a lot of people when they write a post or upload a pic so it probably doesn't need to be more than that. You could also have a section showing the most liked/loved quotes written today/within the last week etc. A top list of popular writers. Being featured on those lists could be rewarding for some.

Throw in medals/achievements too to give them something to work towards and a reason to keep coming back. For example:

"wrote your first quote"
"wrote 10 quotes"
etc. etc. worded better than those of course and a lot more variation of medals/achievements, not just wrote x amount of quotes ones.

But what about something more valuable than being at the top of the list? What if users could get more valuable rewards for being at the top of the list but not too much expensive, just enough to attract users.

P.S This post could help many app developers if everybody could just share their thoughts on what they would like to receive as a reward for being active app user.

In your case, maybe books or vouchers for books - seeing as it's about quotes.

It's entirely dependant on the nature of the app - not sure there's much cross over between different types of apps.
