Background problem

Hi all!

This is my first post on this forum, but I've been lurking around for quite sometime:)
Anyway, I'm soon finished with my game and have one problem left to solve so I thought I might ask if someone has experienced the same problem.

I have a scene that is 3748 px wide with an actor that is 480 px wide put next to each other to make up a background. When the camera is following my main actor the background kind of flickers, so it looks like there is a line between each background image. This only shows on the iPhone and not in preview mode.
I've tried putting the backgrounds closer together but with no results. They still have a line between them. The background image also becomes blurry when my main actor moves.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums, Gr8Bit - (we love 8bits round here!)

What iphone model do you have, first of all?

How fast is your actor moving?

Try overlapping one actor over the other a little. That might work...

    Cheers,

Are you placing a bunch of 480x320 actors next to each other? Or do you have one 480x320 Actor stretched to cover the whole background?

    Thanks for the warm welcome!

QS - 8bit is awesome :) I have a 3G, but I tested it on a 3GS too, and its the same problem. Tried the overlapping as well, but with no luck. My actor is moving at the speed of 100.

firemaplegames - I have a bunch of actors placed next to each other.

Not really a big problem, mostly annoying.
