text based game

can i make a story based game on GS?
basically users will have the options to type in thier own story to add to the game ?
i read somewhere that GS doe not support typing in the game ?

    It has text input but I wouldn't recommend using it. It looks really really bad. Try it with your trial account to see what it looks like and then decide if you're happy with it.

    There's nothing to stop you creating your own text input system. The world is then your oyster. When I get time I intend to finish off and release this:

    I attempted this once. Yours looks pretty good and better than my attempt! But to be honest we shouldn't have to go into so much effort to do something so basic. This do it yourself approach also means we have to design a keyboard/style for other devices like Android.

    If the user needs to type text then GameSalad isn't the tool I'd want to use or recommend.

    @KevinCross I agree, but more that we should have easy project merging. That way our keyboard options are endless. With mine I recommend reskinning it to be device agnostic.
