I don't understand 4.3 of the agreement. What is iTunes KK? Do I have to pay taxes to Japan or is Apple doing this automatically? I'm not a resident of Japan.
OK, here's how I understand the situation. The iTunes Store in Japan is holding the tax. If you're not a resident, you file extra paperwork to get the taxed money back. (I'm not sure how much, if it's all or some.) If you don't file the paperwork, you get paid less and the money you didn't claim probably goes to the Japanese government.

I'm also wondering how many Devs bother with it, and how many apps are in the Jap market as oppose to say, the US one.... ^o)
