pin working but center of mass not working when constraining coordinates to another actor

i previously got some info on pin and center of mass which worked great for an actor to be a bat, tennis racket, golf club, paddle etc.

now i want to constrain the coordinates of this "weapon" actor to always be attached to the character actor ... however, when I do this the pin remains, but center of mass X seems to be 0 and it acts like a fan blade rather than a swinging weapon.

has anyone experienced this or see a workaround/fix?

thanks!!!

PIN + COM don't play well with Constrain, there are various issues when using Constrain and PIN + COM , as you've discovered !

OK, I should be able to approach this differently, thanks for the tip.
