Can someone help a beginner with an idea, moving along a web

Hi all, apologies for what's probably a very simple question for most of you. I've started a few tutorials and trying to find the answer for my first project but can't seem to find what I want.

I just want to know where to start with building a spider web and making an actor move along each piece of the web, ie. up one thread, along the next thread and so on. Which behaviours should I be looking at here?
