Would anyone explain "TableSearch" for me?

Hello everyone!
I bought a template which about "Level Star" in GS.Helper.
But it use the "TableSearch" behavior , I don't know how to use this behavior.

tableSearch(table, "[row│col]", targetRowCol, startRange, endRange, "(not)"[exact]│beginsWith│endsWith│contains]")

This function is too long to I can't understand them at all.
Would anyone explain more for me, please?
