Strange Joystick Freezing

Hey there, I'm using the general joystick template and I'm having some strange problems with it that I wasn't sure if anyone else was experiencing. All is well with movement of the character but if I, on the left joystick (movement) swing the inside dot all the way out, then move it in a circle around the outside of the grey circle, when I get to the bottom left of the grey circle the green stick will freeze. From this point on, any time I touch the green stick it will snap back to the position in the bottom left and not be moveable anywhere else.

Weird, I know, and hard to explain.... Hope someone can help me out, though.

    Hi Matt
The same thing happened to me when I was testing it. I tried a lot of stuff and nothing until I don't know why I decide to do the stick almost the same size as the base. After that the problem stooped.
Have in mind that when you add the image to the stick, if you want the stick to look smaller than the base, make sure to save the image in a larger space so the actor being big will look as small as you want.

Oh now I remember that the size of the stick was a problem when grabbing it. The freezing problem was because the touch was not in the same layer of the base and stick, the hud I think its called.

I found to stop this I created a rule that touch 1 could only operate in the left of the screen and touch 2 on the right of the screen. Then removed touch points 3,4 and 5 altogether. Not sure it's the same problem, my left joystick was auto-moving towards the other one and sticking there.

Mwahahahahahahahaha- Stus nailed it. I guess the left stick was trying to snap to the right stick in some weird other worldly dimension. I pulled it farther from the edge and BAM! Not a problem.! Brilliant. Thank you both so, so, so much.
