iAP Purchase Question: Remove ads and unlock characters

Cant seem to find anything about this. But can someone please show me or point me in the right direction on how to have an In App Purchase to remove ads and also how to make a character not clickable/selectable until they purchase them. Im gonna allow the user to either purchase the character with in game coins or via iAP.
