I did edit my description to help people who were having problems but it hasn't helped by the looks of things.
Shame about the haters or genuine people having problems but we tested it to death with a 3G with no problems.

I ran it on an iPod Touch 2G 8MB...and it worked fine (and its 85% full). There is NO WAY to know each and every user's personal configurations. For all you know...its a cracked device.
just ran it over and over through the first few levels on a jailbroken ipod touch 2G running 3.1.2. Just runs perfectly smooth with no problems at all.
If you haven't already...build a support page feedback form on your website. Invite folks having performance troubles to visit your support page and fill out the form.
Request their device specs and perhaps that will give them an avenue for you to address them directly (not to mention an argument against haters).

As Synth said, people are smart enough to see through the bullshit and most of the time they want to make up their own minds, rather than take the word of some low IQ sloth.
