IPad game crashes after so much play time on viewer...

If an app crashes on the viewer, is that a pretty good indication that it will crash on the device itself?
Does it crash after so much memory buildup or has that been fixed?

Very bummed :(

Have you tried using the 'recent games' feature on the viewer?

    Cheers,

My viewer crashes every time I start a game on it now. So bloody annoying. Only just installed it, worked a few times and now doesn't. I know GS is beta, but I paid for this... and it's so ridiculously unstable...

@QS: yeah Im loading it from the recent games tab

I'll probably get an ad hoc version going but now I'm worried that it's crashing from memory buildup, does this happen after playing an app for awhile on the viewer as the norm?

@polygame: I hear ya, I'm more worried right now than anything

RAM per scene? I don't really see why an iPad game would crash, unless your project is HUGE

Sometimes it could also be simply because one of your rules don't logically don't make sense. I helped a guy out a few days ago who had a game that kept on crashing, and it turns out it was one of his audio files that kept on making the game crash- on both an ad hoc and the viewer. When he removed the audio, the game worked perfectly fine

@Artonsky: Yea I'll have to mull over the logic, and see what I can find wrong.... it could be RAM useage, could be some off rule in a couple of levels.... I'll have to see!

Might be worth while to make an adhoc to see if it crashes. It's nice to know its nothing wrong with your game.

I never trust the viewer. I just like (love) the convenience but i still dont like to rely on it.
