Also, I'm guessing it'd be VERY basic... probably limited to the most damn... can't use basic or limited again... word echoes... argh... you know what I mean. If it DOES exist, I doubt it would be game capable. But if it is, BRING IT!!!!

I heard somewhere that Apple tapped CreativeSolutions and his "team" to create this new feature...still looking for that report though...

i very much doubt it. ilife is about the day to day creative things people do (thus the life bit). People want to work with photos, video, music. App creation even in a super simple package needs a lot of logic to implement, no matter how simple the application the thinking needed is still 'pro' level application.

My money is on a replacement for iDVD that allows you to build your videos out into something IOS playable in a kinda app format. So you can make the pretty intros and menus for videos, would also tie in lovely with that new rumoured apple tv thats supposedly based on IOS.

Yeah and could you imagine how much CRAP would hit the App Store? Not what Apple wants.

Conceptually it makes sense, though perhaps not with iLife. Apple has spent years convincing us that using computers and producing content should be easy (computing for the rest of us) -- do they seriously expect everybody to learn Objective C to create apps? One could speculate the whole reason for the 3.3.1 terms was to prevent other folks from stealing Apple's thunder by creating an app development suite.

Come on, it's 2010. Things should be getting easier, not harder. We have flying cars, so a simplified app creator is in the realm of possible.
