Im trying to make a mini map

I've watched the only video i could find on YouTube which shows me how to make the mini map but it doesn't work the same as on the video the mini dots don't move once I put in the cords of the screen camera. Plus How does the hud follow the camera when he didn't constrain it to follow the screen. Please could you help? Thanks

Here's a demo I made a long time ago. Move the knight using the arrow keys or on-screen square buttons.

The hud needs to be on a static layer. Put the mini map on a new layer on top and uncheck scrollable.

So what would you do if you wanted your mini map to have an image that scrolls with the movement?
