How would you go about setting a fixed bounce distance?

So, I would like to set my character's bounce the same height every time it lands on a platform. How would you go about that? Right now, my actor's bounce is very inconsistent; his bounce is determined by the height he's fallen-from, onto the platform.
• So how do I recreate a consistent Doodle Jump-like jump?
Thank you

Change it's Motion.Leaner.Y value to a value (somewhere between 200-1000+) depending on strength of gravity, when it collides with platform.

Thanks again @Two.E
So, lets say I want my character to have a completely controlled bounce in terms of distance and time, just like Doodle Jump, every bounce is the same.
How can you go about that?
Did the previous method not work? The one with the Motion Linear Y values?
