Colliding with non square png's?

Hi all.
I'm just starting to use GS and I'm slowly getting the hang of it, but I am getting stuck on one bit and I'm hopping one of guys might know the answer ...

I've got an actor that is a odd shaped .png file (obviously the background is transparent)... now when you drag a sprite onto that actor at the moment it is just being destroyed (the sprite that is).

That is perfect, exactly what I want to happen, but... GS is seeing that oddly shaped actor as one huge square, so as soon as that sprite gets anywhere near the actor it is destroyed, not when the sprite actually is over the visible graphics of the actor.

Does anyone know of a solution or work around.

I hope that i've explained myself okay (gulp)!!

Cheers Guys!
Jase.

GS only allows collision shapes to be rectangular or circular. If it is a fixed object that doesn't move it would be easy to create a few invisible collision actors and place them over the areas of the png that aren't transparent.
