Attribute problem

Hi, I'm new to gamesalad and I'm doing a game in which the character is jumping. I have watched all the how to's and when I drag in "Change Attribute" I can't find the attribute game.Jump. Can you please help me?

There isn't a default attribute "jump" you will have to create this.

Then, for example, when jump is true - do this.

You create it by clicking on a scene, which will open it up.

On the right hand side you'll see the scene window.

On the left, your actors.

At the top of the window with your actors in it, there are three tabs

Actors
Attributes
Devices

Click on attributes and you'll see a list of what is already being used.

Below this list are little '+' and '-' buttons.

Click the '+' button.

Choose the variable type you need

Click on the newly made 'New attribute' to name it.
