HTML5 Preview - font letters appear as question marks

I noticed that included fonts and custom fonts...all the letters and numbers appear as question marks in the HTML5 Preview, is this... normal ...? ...or something that will appear like that if published on a website? How to avoid the question marks? (sorry if this is something that is planned to work very soon)
