AD reward value

Hi, I'm taking my first steps with the Rewards ADs and I have a question.
I will program in ChartBoost, that every time I see an AD, load the variable "Ad Reward Value" with 1
When I start a new level of my game, I shoot an AD video and wait for the "Ad Reward Value" variable go to 1, to continue with this level.
This variable should return to 0, to be ready for a new change to 1 after showing a new AD in the next level.
My doubt is if I should load manually 0 on this variable after process each 1 or if this reset do automatically by the AD system?
